All requests for lift tables can be classified into two general categories at the most basic level…either requests that fall within the characteristics of Pentalift’s standard Pre-Engineered Products, or requests for unique and custom pieces of equipment. Generally there is no requirement for an approval drawing when a customer is seeking a piece of equipment from Pentalift’s Pre-Engineered Products. When a custom piece of equipment is required, then an approval drawing will need to be reviewed and signed by the customer before proceeding.
The approval drawing is a visual representation of specified equipment that is generated by Pentalift Engineering after quote and design stages are complete, and once there is a commitment to proceed to order. The drawings will reflect all of characteristics for the custom equipment that were included on the quote. Approval drawings will always include one drawing of the equipment itself, but there will often be addition drawings to illustrate the associated pit, or the electrical schematic, or the hydraulic schematic, etc. Depending on the significance and complexity of the customization, generating approval drawings can take between 2 and 5 business days on average. Once the drawings are generated, they will be sent to the customer for review and approval before the order will be formally entered in production schedule.
