The Model VCD Vertical Cylinder Dock Lift is available with a 72” wide x 96” long platform designed for traffic flow across both ends of the platform, lifting capacities available are 5,000 lb. or 6,000 lb.
A low/closed height of only 5 ¼” and a platform approach ramp reduces the effort required to push or hold back pallet trucks or hand dollies as the product is moved on or off the lowered platform. This model of dock lift has 56 ¾” of vertical travel, combined with the 5 ¼” low/closed height this dock lift can service any truck on the road.
The Pentalift VCD Vertical Cylinder Dock Lift is shipped complete and ready to position and install upon delivery. The VCD Dock Lift is provided with a completely assembled remote power unit including hydraulic oil and an Up and Down hand held control pendant.
The VCD Dock Lift is shipped with OSHA compliant 42” high steel guard rails c/w mid rail and 4” high kick plates that are permanently welded to the 96” long sides of the platform assembly.
The vertical direct thrust lift cylinders provide improved lift speeds in comparison to conventional lift cylinder positioning. Increased lift speeds improves the loading dock area efficiency by reducing the overall cycle time required to load or unload a truck.
