Listed below are some of the common configurations / options for lift table controls.

Standard  Push Button
As standard Pentalift lift tables are provided with a hand held, 2 button Up/Down pendant control on 10’ of straight cord.

Optional increased push button cord Length
To increase the operators range the 10’ length of push button cord can be extended up to and including 25’ of push button cord.

Optional coil cord
An alternative to a longer straight cord is ordering the lift table with the push button controls installed on a coil cord. The push button coil cord is 4’ in length when retracted and 20’ in length when fully extended. The primary benefit of a retracted coil cord is to avoid the excess straight cord from lying on the floor. In some applications, this excessive straight cord lying on the floor is susceptible to becoming either tangled or accidentally severed rendering the lift table inoperable.

Optional guarded foot pedal control
A common option is to replace the standard hand held push button control pendant with a guarded foot pedal control station. The guarded foot pedal control station includes both an Up and a Down foot pedal to operate the lift table.

The primary benefit of the foot pedal control is to free the operator’s hands to perform other tasks when the lift table platform is being raised or lowered.  The foot pedal controls are housed under a guarded cover.  This guarded cover prevents an object that accidentally fell from the lift table platform from striking either of the foot pedal controls and activating the lift table.

Optional wall mounted push button
Lift tables are also available with a wall mounted Up/Down control station to operate the lift table. The wall mounted control station is shipped loose and it is the responsibility of the installer to both position and wire the controls into place at the time of the installation.

Optional dual push button controls
Lift tables can be ordered with dual control stations. Dual control stations are common when a lift table is required to service 2 fixed levels; one set of controls is installed on the lower level and the second set of controls is installed on the upper level permitting the operator to call the lift table from either level. As standard any lift table that is equipped with dual control stations automatically includes an emergency EStop button located on each control station.
