The loading dock floor is usually about 4’ higher than the outside grade, and with busy lift truck traffic in this area, accidents can easily occur. Roll Off Stop Dock Levelers were designed specifically to address this situation. With the dock leveler in the closed or parked position, the hinged lip projects 8” above floor level providing an effective barrier to prevent the lift truck from driving off the elevated level to the ground below.
