Custom Warranty Requests
March 18, 2015, 5:26 pm - Pentalift's standard warranty states that product manufactured by Pentalift Equipment Corporation will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use for one year. To properly validate the warranty, you need to complete a Product Registration Card. If a longer structural or hydraulic warranty period is required, then your Pentalift Sales Representative can quote a custom warranty for your consideration. Ensure that you add a couple of business days into your planned quote time to allow for this review process. If you would like more information on what is considered normal use, or have any questions about standard or extended warranties, do not hesitate to contact your Pentalift Sales Representative.
Roll Off Stop Dock Levelers
March 11, 2015, 5:27 pm - Looking for extra safety features in the loading dock area? The loading dock floor is usually about 4’ higher than the outside grade, and with busy lift truck traffic in this area, accidents can easily occur. Roll Off Stop Dock Levelers were designed specifically to address this situation. With the dock leveler in the closed or parked position, the hinged lip projects 8” above floor level providing an effective barrier to prevent the lift truck from driving off the elevated level to the ground below. Dock Levelers, Pit vs Pour-In
March 3, 2015, 10:25 pm - Dock levelers are available to suit either a preformed pit installation or a “cast-in-place” pour in design. The pour in place design lowers the overall cost of the installation by eliminating any on-site forming, and minimizes labor required to commission the equipment. Preformed pit installations have more flexibility regarding the timing of delivery, and should the application change in the future they can be more easily removed and replaced. Lift table options when pit is not possible.
February 27, 2015, 2:31 pm - What can you do when you need a lift table that you can roll loads onto, but it is not possible to cut into the floor to create a pit? There are a few ways to overcome this situation. Depending on the application, Pentalift's 4.3LH, Pro Series, or even the LPE might meet the requirement when utilized together with a hinged or floor mounted approach ramp. The other possibility might be to move to a No Low style lift table. Contact your Pentalift Sales Representative for more information.
