Where would you use a vehicle restraints surface mounting box?
April 8, 2019, 11:45 am - In the most common vehicle restraints installations the restraint back plate is anchored to the face of the poured concrete foundation. A concrete block or brick foundation is not strong enough to anchor the restraint into position hence the need for the surface mounting box. A concrete slab is poured tight to the foundation wall and the surface mounting box is bolted down into the concrete slab. With the surface mounting box bolted into position the vehicle restraint is then installed.

What are the requirements for installing a hydraulic lift table into a pit?

To avoid creating a pinch point as the lift table platform lowers into the pit the lift table is equipped with either bevelled toe guards or an electric toe sensor. If the lift table is equipped with a rotating top a limit switch is required on the rotator to ensure the rotating top is in the home position when the platform lowers into the pit.
