Lift table options when pit is not possible.
February 27, 2015, 2:31 pm - What can you do when you need a lift table that you can roll loads onto, but it is not possible to cut into the floor to create a pit? There are a few ways to overcome this situation. Depending on the application, Pentalift's 4.3LH, Pro Series, or even the LPE might meet the requirement when utilized together with a hinged or floor mounted approach ramp. Dock Lift versus Dock Leveler

With the majority of loading docks being approximately 48” above the road or driveway, there are many more dock levelers in use than dock lifts. Installing Lift Table Into Pit
February 21, 2015, 1:05 pm - What are the guidelines to install a lift table into a pit? The idea is to address the safety and well-being of anyone that might come within close proximity of the lift table when it is in operation. The two most common solutions are to provide a physical alert through installation of a 30° bevel toe guard, or to provide a toe sensor that will automatically halt the movement of the table if it comes in contact with any interference.
