Vehicle Restraints

Vehicle restraints safety systems are a key component of efficent and safe modern loading docks. Vehicle restraints lock trailers into position at the loading dock. The vehicle restraint systems incorporate an intergrated system of signal lights, inside on the vehicle restraint control panel and outside on the facility wall to communicate loading and restraint status to the dock attendant as well as the truck driver. To further increase safety, the vehicle restraint systems can be interlocked to other loading dock equipment such as dock levelers, inflatable dock seals and shelters, overhead doors through use of a common control panel. Model UHR40 Vehicle Restaint Safety System

Positioned under the dock leveler this model of vehicle restraint is the most reliable and effective safety system. Protected from the elements, accidental impact and providing ease of snow removal this vehicle restraint has a drawbar rating or holding strength of 40,000 lbs and features an operating range 9” low to 29” high.

Model LPR35 Vehicle Restraint Safety System

Designed to service applications where trucks arrive with very low rear impact guards the LPR35 features a low height of 8 ¾”. The stepped hook arrangement provides dual locking positions and this model has a draw bar rating or holding strength of 35,000 lbs.

Model HFR32 Vehicle Restraint Safety System

Recognized as an industry standard the model HFR32 has evolved form its original design and has been in service for over 20 years. Featuring a 32,000 lb draw bar rating or holding strength, the HFR32 as standard is supplied with a complete communication system.

  

Model RVR32 Vehicle Restraint Safety System

This model of restraint is an off the ground vehicle restraint. The front extension bar provides a lower limit on the service range of 9”. The hook design features a 32,000 lb draw bar rating or holding strength capability. A slip clutch protects the gear box during the application of shock forces associated with loading and off loading the vehicle.      

Model MFRSA32 Vehicle Restraint

This model of vehicle restraint is offered as a combination of maximum product value and incorporates a complete communication system. This model features a 32,000 draw bar rating or holding strength, an operating range of 10 ½” low to 29” high and is designed to provide continued trouble free operation.

Model MFR32 Vehicle Restraint

The model MFR 32 is offered as a loading dock area safety devise providing good product value. Available to suit applications that face budgetary restrictions this model also features a 32,000 draw bar rating or holding strength, an operating range of 10 ½” low to 29” high and is designed to provide continued trouble free operation.
