Description |
Pentalift "Pentalever" Mechanical Edge of Dock
levelers are built for a rugged service life in
demanding applications. "Easy-lift" activation
reduces the manual effort required to position
the edge of dock leveler. A torsion spring
assembly provides operator assistance when
cycling the edge of dock. The activating lever
stores safely out of the way at the side of the
deck, and is not prone to loss or theft. The "Pentalever" Edge of Dock is a safe and economical
alternative to conventional dock levelers. The
design ensures trouble-free operation and a
maximum return on investment. Lip hinge grease
fittings are installed for ease of maintenance.
The activating lever stores safely out of the
way and is not prone to loss or theft. The
operator lifts the activating lever straight up
until it contacts the retaining bolt. In one
simple motion, the lever is pulled back until
the lip extension latch engages. The operator
then pushes the handle forward to position the
lip and deck assembly onto the bed of the truck/trailer.
After the truck departs, the edge of dock
automatically returns to the stored position.

Pentalever Mechanical Edge of Dock leveler shall
be model _____________, as manufactured by
Pentalift Equipment Corporation. Unit(s) shall
be lever operated and torsion spring assisted.
Leveler to have a deck width of _______". The
rated capacity shall be _________ lb. Lip shall
extend 11 1/2" beyond bumpers. Leveler can be
operated to allow for the return of deck and lip
to stored position without the need to move the
truck from the dock. Leveler shall automatically
restore when truck departs. When not in use, the
operating lever will store safely to the side of
the bumper, eliminating the potential for loss
or theft. Bumpers shall be molded rubber mounted
on heavy duty steel bumper blocks to achieve an
overall projection of 16". Unit to have
Pentalift gray finish. |
