Produce distribution center upgraded their receiving area and choose 19 Pentalift HDV7635 vertical storing dock levelers and 19 Pentalift PS100 fixed head dock seals. The vertical storing dock levelers have a 7’ wide platform to provide easy lift truck access to the bins of produce that are positioned side by side at the very rear of the trailer. Selecting vertical storing dock levelers has the advantage of minimizing vermin entry and significantly improved energy costs by sealing the door opening 100% when the dock levelers are not in use and the overhead doors are closed. Based upon the size of the overhead door, the approach and the dimensions of the trailers being off-loaded the Pentalift PS100 fixed head pad dock seals provided the most cost effective solution.
