October 21, 2016, 1:07 pm - Pre-engineered lift tables are typically designed and built for intermittent use. Pentalift considers standard use to be up to 8 full loaded, complete cycles per hour. If the equipment will be exposed to greater than 8 cycles per hour, then we need to look at making upgrades to the table and the power unit. October 14, 2016, 3:34 pm - Pentalift's standard warranty states that dock levelers manufactured by Pentalift Equipment Corporation will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use for one year. The deck assembly, lip assembly, and dock leveler frame are warrantied for 10 years. To properly validate the warranty, you need to complete a Product Registration Card. This general warranty applies to all dock levelers that Pentalift fabricates. October 7, 2016, 1:10 pm - If a lift table is installed into a pre-formed pit, one or more of the following guarding methods must be provided for personnel protection from potential shear points. The two most common methods to provide shear point protection are beveled toe guards and toe sensor bars. Other methods of protecting the shear point include use of metal skirts, or employing devices used to prevent personnel from approaching the area during operation, such as enclosures or safety mats, etc. Contact your Pentalift Sales Representative for additional information.
September 30, 2016, 10:35 am - Pentalift’s standard finish is gray enamel paint.Pentalift offers to paint equipment in any custom color when the RAL# is provided. In a more demanding environment, such as exterior exposure, Pentalift offers to upgrade to an epoxy finish. Where regular chemicals wash down, or there is concern about oxidization, Pentalift can offer hot dip galvanized finish. Finally, some applications such as food handling, may require complete stainless steel construction. September 23, 2016, 11:29 am - When a customer has a requirement for a particularly long lift table, it often makes sense to move to a Tandem Lift Table.A Tandem Lift Table is created when Pentalift mechanically combines multiple sets of scissor leg sets, positioned end-to-end, utilizing a common deck and frame assembly.The TL-Series and the TLH- Series are Pentalift's two pre-engineered series of tandem tables. They both use two leg sets. The TL has a lower profile and is lighter duty, while the TLH has a greater, fully lowered height and offers much higher capacities.
